Letters, Postcards, and Pictures
Hello everyone! I hope you're doing well! Today I thought I would tell you about a passion of mine. That passion is letters, pictures, and pictures from the 1800's & 1900's. I have quite the collection already but it's nothing compared to what I want it to be.
As you can tell I wasn't joking. I do love to collect these things! I currently have twenty-seven letters, two photos, and nine postcards. The earliest document I own is a postcard from 1898 making it one hundred and nineteen years old. All these are the originals and one of a kind. I love to read the letters and see what people's lives were like and how romantic people were before tinder and other dating apps. I find it cool to research the people who wrote the letters as well.
So here are some of the letters in envelopes that I have they're addressed to the same two people who seem to have been in a relationship. I love reading the letters because of the different tones and how some are funny and others are more serious.
Here are the two photos I own one is the Golden Gate Bridge from the early 1900's and the other is a photo from somewhere around the 1920's. I love old photographs and seeing the world through other peoples eyes. As a photographer myself, I find the pictures very interesting.
Lastly, I have these postcards from 1898-1947. I love them all and it's very interesting to read them also. I find it interesting how postcards have changed over time.
Well, I hope you liked this little glimpse into my life and I will hopefully have more to show you soon!
Till next time,
Katherine XOXO

This is another letter I own it's a love pome from a Man on the U. S. S. Tomahawk. As you can see it was sent for Christmas.
